right now & recently
As the Executive Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Personal Pizza Party, an NYC-based theater company, I recently produced a staged reading of my full-length play, Slow Burn, at the Tank on January 26th, and facilitated the Writers’ Cohort of The Oven, our new play test kitchen dedicated to community-building. In addition to facilitating, my play The Half-Lives of Digital Stars, had a reading at East Village Basement as part of the program on June 23rd.
With the Episodic Theater Project, I directed Episode 3 of Bardcore, a serialized theatre project created and produced by Melissa Lewyn and Lianna Rada, written by a writers’ room (Duncan Miller, Liv Wilson, Ellis Stump, and Neeta Thadani) which performed on May 2nd.
Now, I’m focusing on the development of The Peek with Samuel Pepys, an original audio drama premiering this winter. Hosted by Restoration Era diarist Samuel Pepys (1633-1703), Peek is your first-hand look into how Western celebrities came to be—with the drama, scandal, and intrigue of a present-day gossip podcast. To aid in its development, I received a 2024 Queens Art Fund Grant through NYFA.
outside of work
You can find me traipsing around my neighborhood in Sunnyside, Queens, or hanging out in my apartment with my roommate’s cat, where I’m often re-watching Avatar: the Last Airbender, re-playing Fire Emblem: Three Houses, or re…ading a book from my extensive backlog of YA novels I purchased with a $150 Barnes & Noble gift card in 2014 (my taste has not changed much since).
